Great shorts and good value for the money. So far they have washed well and held up nicely. No piling which seems to be common in these type of shorts. They look really nice and are true to size. My son thinks they are comfortable, which is good since he almost lives in them. Fabric is a nice thickness.

I debated back and forth for a while on whether to give these shorts 4 or 5 stars. Ultimately, I went down the 4 because of the large sizing ranges, especially in the 4-6 range. 4-6 year olds grow A LOT in that time frame, and it can be tricky finding clothes that fit them well. I would not get them for a 4yr old that wears a size 4. I figured they would be okay because my 5yr old typically fits a size 5/6 clothes, except for shorts. He has a size 4 waist and these shorts are WAY too big around the waist for him. Even with the drawstring pulled as tight as it goes, it's going to be another summer or two before he can keep them up.
That aside, these shorts ARE super cute and comfortable. The material is soft, and they are long and loose to allow for rough play as some kids do. They are lightweight and the type of material that you just know will dry quickly which will be perfect for the playground over the summer.
I honestly don't know how they will hold up in the wash or against stains, but the material is thick enough to not be see through and the stitching appears to be secure throughout. I'm putting them away and will try them next year, but I do think they are quality shorts, and $20 for 4 pairs is a really good price when you are trying to clothe a child who goes through clothes like they don't cost anything.
