These came very smooshed in their shipping bag. It would have been nice if they were in a box. I anticipate them to smooth out nicely as they are still pretty soft, and being man-made synthetic materials, I think it will soften up even more.
The footbed is a soft plastic as well, not any natural materials here. I wasn't expecting much though as these are probably going to be value sandals. I'm hoping they will be actually good for the water, but I don't anticipate the sole being very grippy.
My daughter has a foot length of 7 and 7/8 in. I bought the size 3, and it leaves room for growth. I expected to fit by summer when she can wear it. She has a wide foot and her feet just barely fit in this. They are not crammed, and she showed no discomfort wearing it around for a bit.
They are shaped like other natural footbed sandals, and they have a nice high arch. Not excessive, but definitely supportive. This is great for kids who have collapsed arches.
My only complaint is the quality of materials, and the shipping crushing it. But being that they are not very expensive, I didn't expect much.
